31890: Beginning Pottery
Come and experience throwing pottery on the wheel. Lots of fun and a great stress reliever, this class is for individuals who have never taken pottery or those who need a refresher course. Students will learn the basics of wheel throwing: wedging, centering, pulling, trimming, glazing, and studio etiquette. ***No class Sept. 23*** 10 weeks

31956: Clay for Hands
Learn to handbuild your creative ideas in clay. We will explore the use of clay in sculptural form and texture as well as glazes and cold-surface treatments. Supply fee includes the first 25lb. bag of clay and all glaze / firing costs.

This class requires a basic knowledge of the potters wheel.  Students should be able to center and pull a cylinder with ease.  Emphasis will be on developing stronger design by refining shapes and throwing techniques.  Supply fee and supply list required.
