54972: Color Kaleidoscope (ages 6-10) Our world is FILLED with a kaleidoscope of color! I want to teach the young artist the basics (plus a little more!) of color theory and how to use various drawing materials to create their own gorgeous works of art. Each class will be given unique drawing projects meant to strengthen skills and knowledge of drawing techniques when applying color theory while allowing imaginations to run free. Lessons will include techniques in color pencil, oil pastel, prisma stick, chalk pastel, and more. 8 weeks Fees: $56.00 (R) / 81.00 (NR) Supply Fee: $10.00 Instructor: Tori Waters Time: Wednesday September 5 - October 24 5:30pm - 6:30pm 54973: Kids 'n' Clay (ages 6-10) Be creative with clay! Each week students will make fun unique clay projects using diverse hand-building techniques. It will cover proper carving techniques, dry point and printing. Students will create their own plates and images.4 weeks Fees: $56.00 (R) / 81.00 (NR) Supply Fee: $25.00 Instructor: Chris Neuenschwander Time: Tuesday November 13 - December 11 7:00 - 9:00pm 54974: Handbuilding 101 (ages 14+) Review the fundamentals of ceramic hand-building. Each class will feature unique projects meant to expand the student's knowledge of clay and techniques. Art a la Carte Workshops! Order up a specialty art workshop a la carte!  You are welcome to come anytime* within the class period--most projects will take most kids about 30 minutes (though every kid is different). * Please note that pre-registration is highly recommended, as this allows TAS staff to prepare the right amount of materials. You are welcome to postpone payment until workshop time (we understand, stuff happens), but we really do like to have a headcount!
